Preschool Classrooms

The Communication Center’s STARS Preschool provides integrated preschool classrooms in the villages of Fairport and Webster.  We have morning or afternoon classrooms available for children 2 to 6 years old which feature programs that nurture the love of learning in children with and without special needs.

STARS Preschool

• Offers professional staff who are licensed and certified by the New York State Education Department
• Offers interactive activities that tap a child’s natural curiosity, sense of adventure and wonder.
• Encourages learning and language development through music, movement, and play.
• Takes a responsive approach to the individual needs of each child.
• Has only 12 children per class and very low student to teacher ratios.
• Offers free parent education and information programs.
• Offers professional services on site in speech, motor, special education and hearing.
• STARS has a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program in conjunction with the Webster School District.
